Hello everyone, i've been thinking a lot about doing leg-lengthening. My goal would be something around 3.5 to 4 cms only.
So the question i have now is between doing Stryde on my femurs or using TSF on tibias.
With Stryde i would probably aim for 4 cms, although 3.5 wouldn't be bad. With tibia i think i would be more conservative due to fear os messing up biomechanics (and also slower healing).
My main concern is safety, by far. Both during the procedure and the safety of not getting arthritis latter on.
In my mock-ups the tibia looks better, and if all was the same i think i would go for that. But i doubt that it is. So i would like some opinions on it, specially from people who did tibias, as i heard it is the option where you are less likely to have DVT or FE.
I don't dare measuring my bones at home cause it could be very wrong, so i could change my opinion once i get it x-ray measured, but for now, i'm thinking about safety and recovery.
Thanks for the attention.
