Guys do you know any keen long distance runners who have done it?
I would be very grateful if you helped me contact them. I need to know how they recovered and how their performance is.
Cheers
Advanced runners who have done tibia lengthening
I used to run very long.
Now I can forget about it. Aches every day. A foot which barely works. Knees that hurt all the time. I ran 3 weeks ago and it still hurts from that.
If you lengthen then you can forget about long runs.
Did u do internal?
He used LON
Thanks Sweden.
I wonder what it's like if you play "safe": 5cm gain with Catagni, Pili or Salameh + external device + very good flexibility and fitness before the operation.
Are there advanced runners who have done LL and have fully recovered? I am a sportsman myself and I would like to have some examples. Thanks!
What can you do if you develop equinus contracture during lengthening process?? Is there any way to prevent it?
Hi Sweden. I am your around your starting height (172cm). Planning to do 6cm in a couple years. How does it feel going from 173cm to 180cm? What was the impact of it (dating/clubs)? And in the end, do you feel it was worth it?
Hey Dreamof180cm
Join the club I'm the same starting height as you and I want to roughly get to 177-180. Who are you planing to go with and what segment are you thinking of lengthening?
Hey hype, honestly I want to get it done in the next 2-3 years for sure. I want to get it done before I start university. The reason behind this is I suffered a lot in highschool from my height and I don't want to go through the same thing in university. I'm pretty much obsessed with height. I compare knee height to other people when I'm on the bus, metro, sitting, I have lines drawn on my house of different heights etc. I do experiments with shoes and stuff that like and all this thinking consumes so much energy from me that I could be spending on other stuff. I want to get it over with, lengthen 5-6 cms tibias, be average height and leave my past behind and move on with life. Haven't picked a doctor yet but I heard parihar is one of the better ones in india and unfortunately my budget seems to only suit india atm.
