Anyone worried about developing an addiction to painkillers?

I wonder if this ever raises concerns given the number of painkillers you have to take.

You should taper off the painkillers around a month following the surgery. It’s not a significant worry. Just avoid taking them without a medical reason, and you’ll be okay.

Indeed, with time, most individuals tend to reduce their intake of pain medications and gradually discontinue their use as well.
