I was wondering if there were issues is balancing when you have had the femur lengthened 2 to 3 inches. Like if you were doing squats with a barbell - would you fall backwards due to the increase in length? Or if you were just squatting down, does it feel natural?

So if you only lengthen up to 5cm you should be able to function great athletically? Can people who have only done up to 5cm on femurs confirm this?

Yeah, if I do this I definitely want to be just as functional as I was before. I'm 5'6'' (167.6cm) and if I could be 5'8''(172.7 cm) I would be satisfied and happy. 5'9'' would be a dream, but I wouldn't go that far to sacrifice athleticism, balance, etc. If you have had the surgery can you confirm how much it feels like when you were normal or is there a bit of difference to your movement?
