**The Missing Pre-Op Appointment**

A few weeks ago, I was scheduled for a pre-operative appointment to discuss my upcoming procedure. This appointment was critical for understanding the process, addressing my concerns, and ensuring I was fully prepared. To my dismay, I was asked to sign the consent and tge information was not provided as the appointment was removed from the schedule without any explanation . When I reached out to inquire about it, I received vague and unhelpful responses.

**Feeling Unheard**

During my last visit, I expressed my concerns about the misalignment in my ankle and the grinding sensation in my hip. Walking has become increasingly difficult, and the current treatment feels heavy and unstable. Despite sharing these issues, I felt dismissed and unheard. The response from Dr. did not address my concerns adequately, leaving me with more questions than answers.

**Requests Ignored**

I have also repeatedly asked to modify the treatment plan to avoid further complications. This request seemed to fall on deaf ears, as there was no meaningful discussion about its feasibility or alternative solutions. It's frustrating to feel like my preferences and comfort are not being considered in my treatment plan.

**The Impact on My Well-Being**

The lack of clear communication has significantly impacted my mental and emotional well-being. The uncertainty and lack of information have caused me immense stress and anxiety. It's challenging to feel confident about undergoing a procedure when I don't have all the necessary information or feel that my concerns are being taken seriously.

**Advice for Others**

To anyone reading this, NY has no added value or quality

He's the most expensive surgeon in the world. I would rather go with Paley or Assayag.

Quote from: RLLSurgery on April 17, 2024, 05:19:13 PMDoes anyone have a list of the best doctors along with total costs? I would also like to know who are the best doctors in the US to do it outside of Paley? I was considering Turkey, but now based on the forums I read probably not.

Lot of good surgeons in the US, Canada, and EU.
