I am 22 year old male
I want to get 8cm on femurs and 6.5 on tibias four segments in two stages, which would be fastest for me to get back to walking with crutches I want to be able to walk kind of normally in public with crutches without a wheel chair or walker,

How short do you wish the recovery time to be?
As short as possible, mainly I just want to be able to walk with crutches

That’s going to be four segment lengthening using the STRYDE nails for both the tibias and femurs, but you’re going to have to wait until they come back on the market.
With stryde most people could walk with a cane within 2-3 weeks after the surgery. I was actually encouraged to be off the walker as soon as possible. However stryde was recalled and probably won’t be in the market again until 2023
