Hi, thank you for joining our forum

Extending 7 cm beyond the tibia is risky. If you want to grow 12 cm, you can grow 7 cm from the femur and 5 cm from the tibia. If you lengthen 7 cm from the tibia, your febula bone and Achilles tendon may be damaged.

Increasing your height through surgical procedures is a complex decision with potential risks. It’s crucial to have an in-depth discussion with your medical team, who can offer personalized advice based on your physical condition, leg anatomy, and expected functional outcomes. Additionally, consider the option of achieving your desired height increase gradually, in stages, rather than all at once, as this approach may help mitigate risks and facilitate a smoother recovery process.
