Which is better, cross LL (as offered by Giotikas) or 2 different LL (one in tibia, one in femur, with 1-2 years in between) ?

definitely not cross LL with the TSF frames, telling you from current experience. Maybe the cross LL with only Stryde is more doable.

Great321, you are currently doing Cross LL with Giotikas using TSF frames. Why do you advise against it?

Cross LL is always a bad idea, soft tissues need time to adapt!

If somebody is lengthening only tibia, only the soft tissue of the lower segment will stretch? If yes, why would Cross LL be more damaging to soft tissue than 2 different LL?

No I'm only doing external tibia right know. And it is exhausting enough to care about the slow recovery of my tibias. If your consolidation is slow like mine that could mean you have to wear the frames for 10months (at least I hope that the frames come off in July or August) ...

PT can be very hard. And I can't imagine doing PT for the tibias and my femurs at once.

You wouldn't benefit from Stryde at all if you combine TSF and Stryde becaus you won't be able to walk without the walker or crutches until the frames come off.

I was into quadrilateral, but now I think it's better two surgeries in one year apart.
