Do lower legs work with broken femur?

I have my femur precice 2 surgery this month (hopefully). My bathroom doors are not wide enough for wheelchair so I am thinking I'll use a wheeled stool to go to the toilet and transfer. Do you think it's achievable with broken femurs? I want to get independent in terms of going to the toilet. Can I drag the wheeled stool with my lower legs while seating on the stool?

Yes you can. Your legs work even if they're sore and you can't put much weight on them

You could also use a walker
