I have the same problem. I need to transfer a large sum to Turkey but I don't know how. You can take up to 10,000 with you, anything over that is taxable. I don't want to pay so many fees. How do you do this?

I haven't found a better way than transferwise yet

Last fall the Revolut app (has some similarities to transferwise, good exchange rate) was hacked https://techcrunch.com/2022/09/20/revolut-cyberattack-thousands-exposed/?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAADR_h6kB2qlUY6a2gYLmVBSpHsG93vefTSKOaAfzU2WT7S09SIM5AW2fmDevrxFHnfoajTecN7kRnG3TkzSbrps7QNPkQRCwvEVnfrFrnJky_jcgQbRIZz-G2nGLYh7Vg1TmxTCB86yWiBtATHsmw7dLozh0RTLNOJQsDm_pg4EK

Revolut was hacked, transferwise was not
