He is a plastic surgeon right?
I think it should be fine, I mean if he is being taught by Dr. Betz then I think its fine?
And maybe some people will like the plastic surgery experience if it helps him stitch up wounds/scars nicely? Though internal nail scars are often very small already, my gnail scars are very small
I just don't really know much about the difference in knowledge base between a plastic surgeon and an orthopedic surgeon --and how much is important for leg lengthening, bones, fixing nerve problems, dealing with complications like compartment syndrome, etc
Still, I feel like with enough years being Dr. Betz's student it must be almost like another "residency" experience right? Sort of like how Dr Paley says that doctors under him gain alot of LL experience quickly from the sheer volume of patients?

I think betz can treat if you end up getting a complication that becker can't handle so I don't think should be a big problem.
The idea is to not have a complication in the first place. That said, even Paley has 22 surgeons under him. So if you go there I assume its not actually him operating on you.
Plastic surgery will have no cross over with orthopaedics. They might work together on the same patients but the procedures will be completely different. I would hope he he is plastic surgery or orthopaedic trained
