You constantly spam to appear in Recent Posts. Nobody will go to your the butcher doctor. It is stupidity to have this surgery in Greece. Classic fake giotikas diaries... All the same. And all those who write in the diary are giotikas employees or PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO HAVE SURGERY. Those who create a diary with writing are stupid. And those who believe in them are even more stupid. I can tell you that I went to Mars and had surgery there. I can take any xray image from the internet and show it as my own xray image. These companies do these things to find stupid customers. Stay away from these companies.

Quote from: kkmkm on March 09, 2024, 12:54:28 PMI think he gives blood thinners only for three weeks. The patient was pas this mark. So it's not factual to say he was not taking his blood thinners. Why do you say this?

One Guichet patient also died due to clots. Is it possible that ratcheting nail causes blood clots more?

OMG stop and give evidences , you're such useless !

Hi, I am in my 2nd week post surgery with g-nails.  Giotikas prescribed me blood thinners for 7 weeks. If I had done it with Precise, he would have prescribed for the entire lengthening period because non-weight bearing increases the risks of blood clots.
He explained to me that after the coronavirus pandemic he increased his blood thinners protocol for all his weight bearing patients (not just LL) to 7 or even 8 weeks due to published evidence that the incidence of blood clots has increased in the world. He also told that he checks the blood for the V-Leiden mutation and prescribes blood thinners for 3 months if it comes back positive.

Following the Protocol is nothing wrong
Howver, I believed everyone is different and thus the medication given based on the data and situation.
What is the side effect of having Xarelto for 3 months to 4 months? Do we have the data or cases of side effects on LL patients?

Many LL doctors would prescribe Xarelto during Lengthening phase regardless weight bearing or not.
This is for safety or precaution measure against PE.

If Xarelto is given only for 8 weeks, you can buy Aspirin as a replacment for safety measure.
Also, please ensure sufficient activities or movement for blood circulation.

No doctor can warrant no PE or monitor for you.
You are responsible to check yourself as there are PE symptoms to observe.
Do notify the nurse or go hospital immediately if the symptom persists for days.

The doctor cannot check for you daily or weekly.
Upon discharge from hospital, you would probably consult LL doctor once every 3-4 weeks only.

Be Alert and Viligant during LL Journey.
GOOD LUCK!
