Any experiences of falling sick during LL? Like getting food poisoning or a bad flu. Do you still lengthen during the illness?

Do people going to third world countries take special precautions about diseases like malaria, typhoid and dengue fever? These are bigger illnesses that can even require hospitalization. Everyone will come out fine after treatment, but how will it affect any ongoing lengthening? Any thoughts?

The only thing that really postpones your lengthening is pain in the nerves or bones, or direct orders from your doctor. Infections happen, I've had a cold as well, just normal stuff. Just press on, LL is full of trials and tribulations, you just keep pushing through.
