I just checked - it is not cosmetic so cannot count in that sense - doctors perform Ilizarov on kids to correct deformities - the search for the first cosmetic arm-lengthener continues!!!

This is absolutely not true. Limb lengthening has been done safely for treating deformities for a very long time. Only the cosmetic application is somewhat recent / novel.

Yes lengthening the forearm with discrepencies is done since decades. it is nothing new.

The Problem is that technological progress does not affect the forarm, becuase you cannot put a internal nail inside the forearm !

If you have discrepencies only externa fixator lenghtening is possible.

he saying Salameh has done a lot of work on deformities, so he is confident in his abilities. Salameh posted a video on his instagram where at the end it says "cosmetic forearm lengthening" and 5cm would be quite a big deformity for someone who had done ll twice previously to have just coincidentally.
