Quote from: ChrisIsaak on April 04, 2014, 01:18:59 AMLast summer I went to a beach holiday with my best friend. (Okay, I had a crush on her for years but always kept silent about it). She already knew how much my stature hurt me psychologically and she knew all about my surgery plans. Yet she still said "I just met this guy over there, he's dark and TALL" and she also said " Yeah I went to bed with this other guy but nothing happened, I mean he's tall but he's just dumb". Needless to say, that day I got drunk and punched walls, I was covered in blood and was almost thrown to jail. So, um.. What can I say bro? Try not to take it too seriously and don't let it hurt you, it's not worth it. You deserve better. In brief... Learn from my mistakes  He also has to be tall!

sorry about that bro , glad u came out of it ok and as I see u seem to be happy now after ur operation , u are almost 5'8 now if I can recall u know I notice something I never seen 5'8 guy been called short but when u get under 5'8 then everyone become to notice u are short , sry about the grammar i am not a native English speaker .

Unfortunately, that's the female equivalent of being short.  Whatever we think of fat women, that's what women think of short men.  But that being said, I'd never say to a girl "I want someone just like you but not fat."  Wow, talk about not being considerate of another person's feelings.

i have a serious issue with this double standard, but i guess really this is how girls think.

I mean if a short guy is equivalent to a fat girl, then what about fat guys? Do fat guys get a pass if they are tall? what about short fat guys are they double screwed? I mean something is seriously wrong with the world if that is how people think, unless fat guys get less   than fat girls do?

I think on a visual level, it's much worse to be a fat guy than to be a fit short guy. Jonah Hill is 5'7. Compare his "before and after" weight loss photos and you'll understand. Although on the big picture, being short is actually worse because becoming taller is much more difficult than becoming thinner, obviously.

I think yes, fat guys get less s**t than fat girls do.  If a fat guy is tall, has money, and has a good personality, his "market value" isn't actually that bad.

I guess youre right.. but when you say has money, do you mean really really rich? or just upper class wealthy? Because with enough money all else becomes very insignificant, i think a very wealthy short but fit man has about equal market value as a very wealthy taller fat man does.

And there are sugarmommies too, fat and/or old ladies who use there wealth to get "boy toys". Its probably not as common as the opposite but i think that is because of cultural norms and not because men are less likely to go for that kind of relationship instinctively.

And in either case, fat should never equal short imo, one can be fixed naturally with hard work (being fat is often just a sign of being lazy) while being short is mainly bad luck. Even with a genepool from tall family members one can end up short.

Quote from: Shortie on April 03, 2014, 10:59:08 PMI was talking to a girl friend and she is about 5'2 , we are just friends , and I don't think she is attractive at all but anyway she was like I broke up with my boyfriend today I told her oh ok sry then she said I want someone who has the same look as you and personality but he also has to be tall !!! I felt like s**t why the f**k do u have to say that to me ! She changed my mood for the day and next cpl weeks too !

bro, let me tell you from experience. she does not care about height, she was testing you. every girl does it but her type of testing seems to have hurt you a lot. dont let it get to you. stay confident and act like you dont care(even though you do) and she'll be suk on that tip of your very soon. at the end of the day you can always get LL! He also has to be tall!

I know that feeling, which is why we are all so glad that there is something to fix this problem called Leg Lengthening.  Stay patient and then we'll be taller very soon He also has to be tall!
