Measures matter: women are more demanding, men are less strict
The height of the partner counts. At least 76.4% of women think so. Two out of three (63%) then declare that a first date in which their match turns out to be lower is among the worst things that can happen in the context of online dating. Men turn out to be more possibilists: one in three (35.7%) believes that it is not a determining factor in choosing their own flame. The Italians, on the other hand, have very clear ideas regarding the ideal height of their own: for almost half (47%), the perfect man should be between 181 and 185 cm high, but one in three (29, 4%) is also satisfied with an “average” height of between 176 and 180 cm. Men are much less strict: 38% believe that the ideal woman's height should be around 166 and 170 cm, while one in five (23, 8%) says he is satisfied even with a height of less than 165 cm and one in three (33%) openly states that the youngest girls are more attractive. Only one in ten (9.5%) wants a woman at least 176 cm tall.
