I measure my height at the first hours in the morning. Barefoot. With foot together and the most straight i can be. With that im 165.
In platform shoes and with an Abraham Lincoln hat on.
1. As soon as I wake up
2. Mid day 0.7 cm less than original height
3. Before go to sleep up to 1,4 cm less

Lol. Sounds like how I used to dress when I went to parties and social events!
Now I just embrace my height until I can get LL. I measure myself standing straight as possible with my feet together. My height at a given time of day fluctuates by around 2CM though, which I find strange. Maybe it depends on how much weight I've carried on the day of measurement.
I stand as straight as I can against a wall. Then using a pencil, I mark where the top of my head comes to. I measure from the floor up to that point with a tape measure.
I'm exactly 5'10 in the morning. Measured myself now (end of the day) and I'm 5'9.5.
I have a height chart on a wall. I stand in front of it and hold up a mirror to see how tall I am.
I use a thin book with a hard cover so its perfectly 90 degrees from the top of my head to the wall. Keep the book in place (mark it if u want) and measure with a tape.
I measure about 4 hours after waking up, against a wall, standing as straight as a soldier, barefoot, standing at 173cm (therefore at least 175cm with shoes)
