If you have a business class seat its super easy. I slept for more than half the flight. Make sure you book a seat thats in a middle isle so nobody is asking you to move when they have to use the restroom or vice versa.
If you have an economy seat Im not going to lie its probably going to be pretty uncomfortable but you'll make it through.
It will be difficult immediately after the surgery. especially if you made a femur.
maybe im misunderstanding but shouldn't this be the least concern? its not like your using your legs on the flight, airport should be 10x more difficult
You can use a wheelchair in the airport.
Nothing's gonna stop your legs from getting swolen like hams in the seated position for 10 hours.
I was lucky enough to have two empty seats next to mine in the big 4-seat middle row. I put my feet up there and was fine.
A girl I knew said she got on the plane, then when her legs got swolen she sat in the aisle and cried until they upgraded her.
