I am on the stage 4.2  on the tanner calculator. How much do you expect me to grow at this point? I am 5'1" tall, my endrocrinologist said that I was pretty much done growing but I hope I could still reach 5'4", at least 5'3".

You might grow 1" but anything more would be nothing short of a miracle.

I'm also a 4.2 and I'm around 5'3-4 but hope I reach at least 5'5-6 by the time of surgery.

By your wingspan I guess it would be possiblefor you to easily reach 166. Quote from: llx54511 on December 26, 2014, 07:23:02 AMI'm also a 4.2 and I'm around 5'3-4 but hope I reach at least 5'5-6 by the time of surgery.

I hope so, also I read from a post that you had a knee X-ray to see if your plates we're open/closed. I was wondering if you remember how much the cost was ?

When I did it, it was about $150.

Did insurance cover any of it ? Also do you know how accurate an X-ray can depict growth plate closure? Was your doctor able to tell right on the spot ?

He got back to me in about a week, and insurance did not cover it. The x rays are pretty accurate.

The growth plates on the knee are very accurate. Supposedly I am done growing FROM my legs so the majority of my growth is done by now. Now, not all of the bones fuse at the same time and my knee plates barely fused some months ago. The spine plates are the last to fuse so far I know. Now, there is not so much growth left at this point and supposedly you only grow like 1-3 inches if much. I hope I can manage to grow 2 inches more but I haven't grown at all since I was 12 so...
