Hello, I am new to the forum. I have seen in several places, especially in the Ilizarov Center. A condition to have surgery there is to measure a maximum of 1.60 in men and women. If it measures more than 1.60 they do not make bone lengthening to anyone. How true is that? And they make a filter to know if the patient has psychological problems, I read this here: https://mundo.sputniknews.com/salud/201811091083310931-como-aumentar-estatura-crecer-centro-aparato-ilizarov-rusia/

This may be true for many doctors--including orthopedic surgeons who do not specialize in limb-lengthening (remember that many have never even heard of cosmetic limb lengthening, though that is changing with time).
However, the top doctors such as Paley do not hold such limits and even speak of patients as tall at 5'11 and 6'0 undergoing surgery.
