1 person apartment in Seongnam is around 600-700 per month, probably will be delivering your food so add in another 1000-1200 per month, public transporation around 100-150 per month more if you are going to take the taxi a lot, and then there are possible caretakers fee but I am not sure how much they cost. Overall expect maybe 2000-2500 per month during your stay.
Dr. Lee's base surgery for femur precice, if he hasn't increased price for foreign patients, will be $65,000 and with the hospital package ( 120 days hospital stay including food ) is $78.000. So if you are staying outside the hospital you would be saving around ~1000 per month, but lot of people prefer to stay in the hospital since socializing with other LLers help your mentality/lessen anxiety + you get easier access to medical care ( Dr. Lee's 4 person rooms are also full so the price will increase if you go to 3 person rooms ) + don't forget the 10% upfront payment for foreigners when entering Korea ( this will be refunded though ).

Dr. Lee changed the price December 2021 so it's very recent. Obviously there were lot of uproar in Korean LL forums/group chats since the price suddenly went up by almost 10k. I am not sure if he changed the domestic price so it matches up with his foreign price or if he also increased the foreign price as well ( however the Japanese price is also the same as the Korean price so maybe he matched it ).
