Hello! It’s been 26 months since my operation for tibial lengthening. The LON method was used and I’m back to running and sprinting pretty normally..
However, I’m planning on having the nails removed soon due to sporadic aching pain around my locking screws.
Does anyone on the forum know or have experienced how long the recovery will take? Will I be able to run and do physical activities within a week or so? I’m in the process of becoming a law enforcement officer, so I need to be able to perform physical task like running and sprinting etc…
If you think the recovery will take much longer than a week or so, would you advise I just remove the locking screws instead? If it’s just the locking screws, how long do you think recovery will be?
Thank you all in advance!
