Hello everyone, I hope you are well, first of all I apologize for my English. I am planning to travel in January to Vietnam to undergo LON in Tibias. My wife due to work and other obligations cannot stay with me during the almost 3 months that the lengthening will probably last, so my intention is to return to my country to continue with the lengthening process once I get out of the operation, what causes me a little fear is that I will be away from my doctor, so if there is any complication I will be in possible trouble. My wife is a nurse, she could attend me, take care of me, change my gauze, clean my pins and perhaps administer medication if necessary. I don't know if this is recommended, I have seen some patients who have done PRECICE have done it, but I don't know anyone with LON who has done it, suggestions, advice...thanks.

Is it advisable to do LON in tibias and return to my country to lengthen?

No. You should be near the doctor so adjustments to the frames / lengthening rate can be made as needed.
