Just curious on the fact that there are various orthopaedic surgeries, surely some would be comparable in pain scale? Curious about the topic

Hi James, I have had a spinal fusion (l5/L4) and 6 weeks later (!), travelled to the other side of the world and had a LL (single leg 5.5 cm internalĀ rod femur) , then 3 years later had another 8cm (other leg, internal Precice 2.2 femur) - I can definitely say both LL were far more panful (both the first weeks of surgery and the constant leg tension/ knee movemnt restriction, and outright pain of lengthening then the spinal fusion - I was 49 YO at the time of the SF>initial LL.
