I did my surgery for femur internal PRECISE 2.2 about 2 months ago. Currently I am at 48mm and have a goal of 80mm I really want to reach. I lengthen 0.75mm/day. I take Xarelto 10mg every day, Gabapentin 300mg 4x/day, and Oxycodone (Perocet) 5mg 1-2 times a day. Along with a bunch of vitamins.
My lengthening schedule is 0.25mm about 3 times a day. First one when I wake up around 11 am. Second one usually 4-5 hours after. And last one 4-5 hours after around 9 pm. I stretch 30 mins per each session I lengthen and about 25 mins of strengthening exercise a day and 30 minutes of leg compression boots for blood flow.
I am just so exhausted and tired of this. I have about 45 days left at the current pace before I reach consolidation. And while I know it is not over at consolidation, it seems to be the promise land where things starts to get better (from what other people say). I have nerve pains, and my right leg has a weird range of motion loss, I'm not sure if it is from a muscle tear or what, but it's hard to turn it outwards.
Just wanted to see if anyone has any tips from what I should be doing differently from my current regime to make the last 30mm easier. I am so tired and exhausted. I'll literally pay $100k to skip the pain of this 30mm no joke.
Quote from: p00293 on May 16, 2023, 02:49:02 AMI saw in another thread you have a good job/financial situation. You no doubt had to put in work and go through some tough times mentally to achieve that.
And height is so much more valuable than lots of money, so the same application again will yield even greater life benefits for you. Think about it, you probably had to go through years of college and crap initial jobs to get where you are now, while all you need to do for this is to suffer another 30-50 days, for an even greater benefit than that which took years to do.
Just stick with it. It's 30-50 bad days now or a lifetime of regrets later.
Nah I just got lucky with stocks. Studying isn't half as hard as limb lengthening. But for sure, I agree with you 100%, height is friggen valuable. You think going to the club someone is going to know what penthouse you own, or car you drive? No they see your face, the way you're dressed, your height, and then they talk to you. 100% agree this last 30mm is going to be so valuable, I'm just so tired over the last 2 months. I'm gonna keep fighting but any random tips past LL's have that can make life easier will be appreciated.
Quote from: junior006 on May 16, 2023, 03:13:03 AMthis is everything tbh. face and height + perceived status will get you just about anywhere in life.
yeah man, i keep thinking about how in 5 months I'll be walking the streets normally as a good looking 6 feet man. Going to plan to WFH a month in Cancun in November already. But that doesn't change the fact that I wake up to hell every day. I lengthen every 4 hours and it seems like that 4 hours passes in 10 minutes. Like "omg is it time to stretch for 40 mins and lengthen again? no way"
Quote from: junior006 on May 16, 2023, 03:32:55 AMconsider yourself lucky, many guys here hope to be 5'8. maybe in another timeline they'll get to enjoy being 6ft and handsome.
Man it’s all relative. There’s always some “luckier” and someone “unluckier”. No reason to compare yourself to another limb lengthener. We’re all here to get taller than the version of OURSELVES.
This post is asking for tips to make 5-8cm easier that has worked for previous patients. Not talking about who is luckier or what height they are.
And not some BS tip that I’m obviously already doing. “Stretch, sleep, take calcium” like cmon.
