I heard from Paley's patient now During the surgery one leg is perform by Paley and the other is performed by his successor.
We know Dr. Pelay is the most experience Doctor in CLL. But his successor may not.

So do you think Doing surgery with Paley now is still safest?

I think you may have heard it from my diary. It’s a team effort. It’s not just one person doing a 4 hour surgery. It’s several surgeons, an anesthesiologist, and several nurses. I think that makes it safer and more thorough.

Of course, that is good.  This surgery is not a simple one.  It needs a lot of efforts, skill, experience and technology.  If Paley is doing this alone, that is more dangerous.  His students are not students.  They are also highly trained surgeons.

Yes the surgery is definitely perform with a good team not only the Doctor. My topic is that one leg nail implant finished by Dr. Paley. One leg implant finished by his successor independently. That's what Dr. Paley patient said to me (surgery done in October 2018)

Hi raku

I am quite positive that surgery is done by at least two doctors.  One leg is done by Dr. Paley and the other is done by another.  But I think that is completely fine because Dr. Paley is watching over all the procedures and the other doctors are all highly trained.  I am a former patient of Dr. Paley.  When I was there, patients talked about which leg may be done by which Dr.. The thing is nobody can tell this, meaning that both doctors are good.

Have you seen the X-rays of OverrideYourGenetics? One of his bones is bent
He still has joint pain with that side
If multiple doctors are doing one surgery, who will be responsible for malpractice or accidents?
Is it written on the contract?

Hi TemakiSuShi

I have read OYG's diary but couldn't find that his bone was bent.  Maybe I am missing some part.  Let me know if I miss some of his diary.  However, he seems to recover very well, though.
Plus, I understand your concern about the surgery.  If you are too much worried about the risk of this surgery, I strongly recommend you not to consider this surgery and move on.
