Hi everyone

I am new to the forum;
I live in France
male
25 years old
current height 165 cm

I am planning precice or stryde( if it comes back )on femurs. For now I will not name any doctor names to prevent unnecessary comments.

A patient of the doctor where I will have my future lengthening has a crooked bone consolidation. Doctor says that this is very normal and will become straight but I HIGHLY DOUBT this. Could you guys take a look at this and give your opinion based on experience.

Thanks in advance.

Bro I think it’s ok. As your bone heals it will reshape down to a normal bone. That bulbous structure looks normal compared to many consolidation X-rays I’ve seen

Of course get a second opinion but I’m pretty sure it’s ok.

It won't become visually like a normal bone but still it causes no problem. Many times the bone bridge is thicker or visually weird compared to a normal bone but as long as there isn't a malunion and both sides remain in a straight position there is no problem with it.

Thanks for your reply but if you look from the front left bone consolidation is not straight. There is almost no bone guarding the inside nail.

We saw it.  Tissue remodeling will continue to take place.
