Quote from: wanttaller on August 23, 2019, 02:44:11 PMOne thing is clear. You need to be ready to be ready to go trough this for about 1 year mate. It might take you even longer to recover from that, cause youre not the youngest anymore.
But its possible

Thanks mate for your comment. I understand that it will be difficult and it will take a lot of patience and willpower.

A good finnal outcome is consist of 30% of Dr. Betz's operation and 70% of your following commitments. And yes, it's true that this whole process of gaining a few cms is gonna take time longer than your expectation.

Yep it will take a long time, I‘m about 6 months post OP and 10 weeks consolidation and still on crutches. I did 10cm and it will
take me the rest of the year , until I‘ll be somehow normal again. I‘m pretty tired of everything, it feels like it wont end, but I try to stay positive

I completely threw away crutches like 4 months after operation, including walking, going upstairs/downstairs, squating. But I just go for 5.2cm. As for 10cm, it seems to take at least double the time to get that result.

I will try to ditch my crutch in 1,5 months, thats about 4months in consolidation and 8 months post OP. I think I should be walking without crutches or I hope so

So Dr. Betz charges 500 € for the consultation. X-Rays that will be done is included. I guess I have to pay directly after the consultation but we will see...
