I recently discovered that my torso height and growth was stunted at 14 and, as an adult man, I have the shorter, smaller torso of a 14-year-old. My LBR measured using trochanterion height to floor is .522, and a 2" height increase would bring me to .551.
I'm mentally prepared to sacrifice optimal LBR within reason. I’ve read that an LBR of up to .561 is not optimally attractive but can still look fairly proportional.
Perhaps on the plus side for CLL, my wingspan is 4” longer than my height and I have larger hands and feet. My torso also appears less short when I have a well-developed core.
Have any past patients here had a higher starting LBR due to smaller torsos and, if so, what are your thoughts on LBR?
