Loved this documentary, my personal favorite quote on this doc is:

"He's going through pain either way. If you don't do the surgery, he has
different kind of pain [for the] rest of his life. If you go ahead with the surgery, there is much more serious pain, but only for 6 months." https://youtu.be/JeH0GGh1dDk?t=541

This quote made me bite the bullet on my decision to do LL (in the future).

I loved this documentary and Akash. He's only 5'2 after LL but he's said he "feels a foot taller" after LL. One of the most funny, outgoing, and confident dudes I've ever seen. He got married recently!

Great find, Batman

I know he did 6.5cm tibias, but was that pure external or LON/LATN? I heard them say he was wearing the external fixator for 3 months, whereas pure external takes much longer.

For those who have done externals and internals, is external a lot more painful? I would think it is judging how much pain it looks like Akash faced vs. Alfonso and others who did STRYDE (Alfonso said the pain was "not even close to intense" and never more than 5/10). Is pin care painful?
