For people that have had the surgery done, what is the feelings of your muscles afterwards? Do they suddenly lose like 80% of the strength before the operation?
How much of your pre-OP strength and flexibility stays with you within the first weeks of beginning the surgery?

I didn't even try to get out of bed until the 3rd day, and that was just being transfered to a rolling office chair to use the bathroom, with one caretaker holding my legs up and another pushing the chair. My legs and the frames felt so heavy, and it really hurt to move. The first time I stood (probably about week or more after surgery) it felt like my feet were being impaled by spikes.
Your results may vary, especially if you do femurs or use an internal device.
