Blood tests and x-rays are the only things that are required across the board I think.

don't they even do a bone density test (to see if you have osteoporosis) ?

 I know that they request also a complete blood test (renal function, liver function, throid etc..).

 The chances of you having osteoporosis at the age of 20-50 is very very very very very very very low
