For me. I want to do CLL because of the social advantages that t all people have. I want to be treated fairly. I want a better life for myself and a romantic partner. And being short person is such a ty life. What about you? why do you want to be taller?
I personally don't think there isn't anything wrong with being short. But in our society shortness is hated. There is a negative stigma in regards to shortness. People everywhere in the world look down on short people. short people are treated as if they are inferior, less valuable, less respected, seen as weak and less attractive. It really Is sad. Its an acceptable form of oppression . The way we demonize shortness is deplorable. And our world glorifies tallness. Tallness is seen as beautiful, intelligent,, strong, leadership . Its all prejudice. And we are treating people based on physical characteristics we don't have control over. Its sad because society has brought attention to sexism, racism, homophobia,,,and mental health stigma. And we would think that after all of these marginalized groups go through we would realize that character is more valuable than the outside. The world hasn't changed one bit.
To some extent I agree. But a lot of people internalize things that society tells us. A lot of short people have internalize the idea that shortness is unattractive, inferior,,weak..less intelligent. and its not hard to believe those things especially this whole world caters to tall people. At least in North America.
