i finished lengthening via lon on my tibia last summer and am going to do the precice on my femur next week and i decided to come back to dalri with Dr. Lee in south korea. i decidedĀ  to come back to do it here because i just didnt really have any complaints about the process as a whole. the surgery itself went smooth and i personally had no issues afterwards or before. Aswell as the facilities like rehab center were very good, and from what ive seen dalri pays more attention to the rehab process than most other hospitals around the world with their limb lengthening specific rehab center and their pt's are all very konowledgable and helpful as they are all experienced in this specific area of training as well. During my time staying in the ward after my intial lon surgery was quite comfortable, the room i was staying in was nice and spacious and things like the bed was good and the air conditioning as well was good as its very hot in korea during the summer. the nurses that were there taking care of me as well were very kind and i never had any trouble during communication and everything was being handled very efficiently and effectivley. and As for my timeline i think it went quite fast as i lengthened 7.7cm and 5 months after inital surgery i went back home to canada and was on crutches for about another week just to be safe but then ditched them after that. and now im completly normal with 0 feelings or pain from the surgery and have been as active as i want, walking 10-20k+ steps daily and lifting weights 6x a week (including legs) and doing cardio everyday. Even after i came back home from korea i sent Dr. Lee x rays about every month or 2 and so he would check on it to see how im recovering and his feedback was always very insightful and encouraging to hear. the international team at dalri also stayed in contact with me after when i left incase of anything so communication was always available from before the surgery to during and even after when i leave the country. so i just wanted to share my overall experience at dalri since i feel like there isnt as many posts and information about them as they are in korea. but i would definetly recomenned even if youre a foreigner, there are many systems in place to make sure that you are taken care of and there are also a lot of other foreign patients as well.
