I've been obsessed with wingspan for the last few days. I looked through the proportions section of the forum and learned that my arm length should be 70cm according to my height (166). My arm length, from the acromion bone to the tip of the middle finger, was 65cm in my measurements so far. This was very strange because my arms did not look short at all in front of the mirror. After reading a few articles I realized that I was not measuring correctly, Now, in my current measurements, I measure my arm length accurately at 70cm. (When I measured 65 cm, I measured with my arms open parallel to the ground, and at 70 cm, I measured with my hands hanging down naturally (perpendicular to the ground). In this case, when I open my arms horizontally, I clearly lose centimeters. So this also reduces my wingspan value. I don't know exactly why this is, but I think it's a problem with the joint angles and the flexibility of the vertebrae. As for the result, I have a loss of 5cm when I open my arms, which means a loss of 10cm wingspan in both arms. Based on what we have, it seems possible to reduce these losses and naturally increase the wingspan with typical exercises such as on the shoulders . After all, everyone has different losses. I'm curious about your opinions, I'm sure I didn't make a measurement mistake, I measured it many times, Can we minimize this lost length difference?
