surgery was done on 6th February, today is the two month mark, it's showing 3.5cm in the X-Ray in one leg and 3.2cm on the other leg.

you can read more detailed data on the cyborgforlife limb lengthening forum, in patient diaries section, you will find heights plus in the heading of my diary.

Consultation

I had visited two LL Center in Gurgaon before making my decision one was Height Increase Info which was more famous at the time, and one was Heights Plus, before coming here i had thought of going with Height Increase Info as they had way more patients and hence experience, i had thought if the price is the same then i would choose height increase info, but it changed when i visited them both, first i went to height increase info i waited for Hridesh, the main guy of height increase info for 1 hour, after which he arrived and i talked to him, before exploring the rehab facility, or meeting any patient, i talked to him and one thing stood out like a sharp needle was his arrogance, i got a hint of how my stay is going to be here if i choose this center, it will probably not be professional rehab center where people will treat you with respect as they should because you have given so much money, but instead like a boarding school where the head master will treat you like a child and you would have to do whatever they say. so i figured out very early that i won't go here, next i visited heights plus, where everything was perfect but the problem that they were new and till now they had probably only 5 6 patients bothered me. next when i came back home (i visited for consultation in October 2 months before the surgery) i researched about their doctor Dr. SS Mohapatra and found him to be a good doctor according to his previous experience so i got a little bit more confident and chose heights plus.

Surgery Week:

I live in Mumbai, the hospital and rehab is in Gurgaon around at 1500km distance from Mumbai, traveled by train packed too much stuff, stayed one day in a hotel arranged by the people at heights plus, it was a really bad hotel, got checked in to rehab next day on my request, as i wanted to place things in my room as i thought i won't be able to move much after the surgery, the same day evening, (5th Feb) got admitted to hospital. and the surgery was performed the next day on 6th feb. surgery went okay it could have been smoother, like patient privacy could have been respected a little bit more the environment felt very relaxed, people were going in and out like it was a normal hospital ward and not an operation theater.

after the surgery stayed in hospital for 5 days it was a good experience, moved to rehab, i gained mobility very early i was very active even in the first week.

The Rehab:

the rehab is nice, actually the best part, it's located in a nice place, the rooms are good and we have our own separate rooms so there's no conflicting cause like we would have if we were in a shared room, there were 4 patients when i arrived, then three new patients have come after me and one older patient has left, physiotherapists are good, there are two physio sessions in a day one lasts around 1.5 hours, i enjoy them for the most part, only from a few weeks since the pain has increased it doesn't feel as good as it felt earlier but it's still necessary, there are no physio sessions on Sundays.

Problems:

The problems are mostly related to the process of limb lengthening which i believe would be the same in any rehab basically i believe that my experience was somewhat better than others, it's true for some other people here also, so it's very individual based, some might face some specific problems while others don't i have listed the problems below.

1. Sleep

Sleep has been effected a little bit due to the frames, and i had much better sleep than some of the patients but at the start, when i had only distracted till 2 3 cm on the frames, now that i have distracted close to 5 cm on the frames, and it's showing 3.5cm in the X Ray the muscles and ankle and nerves are a bit stretched not a lot but yes a little bit so it has also effected my sleep a little bit, so i sleep wake up once in the night and then sleep again i am probably getting around 6 hours of sleep. or maybe even 7. but some nights maybe not even 4 hours of sleep.

2. Pain

Well there are 5 pins on each leg of yours going complete through your leg through your skin, bone and muscles, and coming out the other side, you have four broken legs, and on top of that you are stretching everything 1mm per day, based on all of this i feel way less pain that what one would imagine there should be because of all these things, but yes there is pain, i don't want you to expect no pain or very less  pain, two times i was in a lot of pain the internal pin on the top side of each tibia hurt a lot, they  get settled in one week but they hurt for that one week, then after sometime they start hurting again, pin cutting pain is there, then in my left leg a muscle has been stretched or sprained due to which Physiotherapist has told me to stop walking on walker and stretching that specific leg so that the muscle will heal. but all in all it's way less pain that what i had imagined there would be and what i was prepared to bear. but i believe that kind of pain will surely appear for some i guess i was lucky, or maybe at the end of the journey when i have stretched everything to the limit then maybe i will feel the same agonizing pain i had imagined i would feel.

3. Food

well i felt that the food was not adequate as it should have been, i ate a lot of non vegetarian food before coming here, like a lot, 250 grams of chicken daily, protein powder, 5 eggs, etc, now the diet they have has only 4 non veg meals in the week, and some eggs, that seems very lacking to me, even though they give you soya chunks and other veg sources of protein, i feel it lacking still, i believe we need to a lot more protein than what we are being given, to fix this i had to order a few crates of eggs, i told them that whenever you are not giving me a non veg meal add two eggs, then i also bought an air fryer, and i order chicken from my own money and then bake it on my own in the air fryer so this is somewhat of a headache they could have done better in this regard. you won't have this problem if you are a vegetarian. other than that the chef is really good he visits us multiple times in the month to ask us if there's any issue with the food we can call him and tell him to request something special if we want. so that's nice.

4. Mental State

there's isolation from the world, even though there are some patients present here, you still miss your family and friends, then lack of sleep and pain etc all take a toll on your mind so i feel that maybe for me specifically as i am very high in trait neuroticism in the big 5 traits, the mental effects will be a lot more problematic for than the physical pain, so i getting prepared for that in someway which i may or may not disclose later.

shoot your questions if you have any.

It’s completely fair for anyone to visit multiple centers before making a decision. Limb lengthening is a serious and life-changing process, and people should take their time evaluating their options.

That said, posts like this need to be looked at with proper context, not just a single subjective experience without evidence.

At Height Increase Info, we have recently crossed over 250 successful limb lengthening cases just in last 3 years. This level of experience comes from years of continuous, hands-on work with patients throughout the entire journey, especially rehabilitation, which is where outcomes are truly determined. This kind of depth cannot be built quickly or through a small number of cases.

Regarding the comment about “arrogance,” what is being interpreted here is more likely a structured and discipline-driven approach. Limb lengthening rehabilitation is not designed to feel like a hospitality service. It requires strict protocols, consistency, and sometimes firm communication to ensure patient safety and proper recovery. Patients who complete the full process with us understand why that structure is necessary.

We would also like to clarify that there has been no credible evidence or consistent patient feedback indicating mistreatment at our center. On the contrary, many of our patients openly document their journeys, which reflects the level of care and support we provide.

It is also important to address the comparison being made. Heights Plus is a very recent setup with limited case exposure so far. The main therapist leading it, Navish, was previously associated with Height Increase Info and has only recently started this venture after that association ended. Managing a handful of patients is very different from handling hundreds of full recovery journeys over time.

When a center is still in its early stages with single-digit cases, it is naturally easier to focus heavily on presentation and creating a strong first impression during consultation. In many cases, a significant portion of resources is directed toward marketing and online positioning to quickly build credibility. It is worth asking whether that same level of investment is being made into long-term rehabilitation infrastructure and real patient outcomes. This experience shared by the user seems to be one such marketing strategy with no evidence to support it.

We have also noticed a growing trend of narrative-based or anonymous posts that attempt to shape perception and defame or insult others rather than reflect verifiable patient experiences. Readers should be mindful of this and look for consistent, long-term evidence rather than isolated accounts.

We encourage anyone considering this procedure to speak directly with multiple long-term patients, evaluate real recovery journeys, and understand who has consistently delivered safe and successful outcomes over time.
In the end, this decision should not be based on a single visit or a well-presented consultation, but on proven experience, transparency, and real patient results, and not believing anything and everything people see on the internet, especially from new clinics with a lack of experience.
