Knees will only be associated with retrograde femur nail insertion, not with antegrade approach.

I could be wrong, but i have heard of knee pain in case of Antegrade femur too.

I found a video the other day, femoral IM removal narrated by Dr. Rozbruch and performed by his assistant, but I can't seem to find it again. It was pretty quick though, just a few hits.

Android, you are a heck of a researcher that the forum is glad to have. Did you hear if they remove it from the knee?
if you see here(46:19), Paley says he removes it from the knee, I am wondering if its only the case for removing broken nails.
