Quote from: Limbmail89 on May 13, 2023, 06:29:55 PMThat is the best option to keep it around 8cm max for femor. The thing is most people a paley do t even make it to 8cm.

Yet at other places the patients make it to 10cm. It’s the PT that’s making the difference in this situation.

Where are you getting your stats from about most Paley patients not being able to reach 8 cm? Just curious how you came up with the numbers. Also I'm assuming here but I highly doubt most Patients who do LON which is what i think you're comparing it to don't reach 10 cm compared to the the amount of patients that receive 8 cm at Paley Institute. Im guessing but I'm considering the amount of patients that cant afford Paley or other US doctors go overseas and from what Ive been hearing lately are getting a lot of complications. Therefore i assume they market the hell out of the ones that get 10 cm but the ones who don't or unfortunately end up with complications are swept under the rug. So i would assume that if you went off percentages I'm sure Paley would have a higher success rate. From everything i read LON is way more painful so im sure out of the many going that route are all getting to 10 cm or even to 8 cm. I would be careful with going to places marketing like this procedure is easy and anyone can do it cause you can just read patient diaries on here and see thats not how its gonna be.

Quote from: Limbmail89 on May 13, 2023, 06:15:42 PMCan someone explain how live life taller will get people like 10cm, with their physical therapy, while it's considered rare or impressive to grow even 8cm at the paley? I know they say you shouldn't go past 8cm in the femora bone, but that's not the main question. I'm curious about what kind of physical therapy LLT uses to achieve such big growth being able to plow through pain at the 5cm mark, as it seems like a normal thing for them. It has something to do with the PT.

10 cm PT VS less than 8cm PT. HOW DIFFERENT IS THIS OTHER PLACES PT VS PALEYS PT.

My theory is that Paley's physical therapists work with a lot of kids, so they may not push as hard during therapy sessions. Compared to other places that do only adults and push harder. That could be the the actual reason paleys patients don’t reach the full length but the non American places blow past 8cm all the way to 10cm.

Just looking at programdudes diary and he even commands the nurses to push harder. And the nurses responses is “that not what we usually get.” That’s at paley instutute’s PT.

1) LLT has inflated the amount of height their patients gain many times. Maybe it was only 6cm but LLT will advertise 7cm, for example. It seems silly to do that, but they've done it.
2) LLT does not care about long term complications, and will do it if their patient insists and provide the money. A perfect example is @gotmykneesdone on instagram(I am NOT doxxing, he is publicly documenting his limb lengthening story). He went to LLT, went WAY to far, and now has terrible equinus/ballerina foot. And he still wants to lengthen more! It's absolutely shocking that LLT would allow this. Even worse, he thinks nothing is wrong. Anybody pointing out the severity in the comments is attacked by him--he refuses to acknowledge that he's destroying himself. Go and look on his Instagram for yourself, it's completely public and he's documenting his whole story.

tldr;
Paley is plays it safe with his patients and doesn't inflate their height. LLT does not play it safe and inflate their patients height.

He did 8cm on tibia with lon, which ist just dumb af. But livelivetaller is probably paying him off, so they can use him as a marketing plant
