I also found a video on Vietnam’s national television related to this physician. However, I haven’t been able to locate any contact information. I’ve asked an acquaintance in Vietnam to look into this, and I will share any updates if more information becomes available.

I’ve been able to get in touch with Dr. Luong. One interesting detail is that he is also a member of the military. Thanks NorthBarista!

I’ve reached out to a few doctors in Vietnam, but I’m currently prioritizing Dr. Luong because of his strong reputation and international publications. I’m hoping to move forward with limb lengthening in the near future and am in ongoing discussions with Dr. Luong. If anyone here has additional information or personal experience to share, I’d really appreciate it.
108 Military Hospital or Bac Ha Hospital is better?
Post-operative care at Bac Ha International Hospital is generally better since it’s a private hospital. At 108 Hospital, which is a public hospital, patients usually need to hire an additional caregiver during their stay.I’m planning to discuss this in more detail with Dr Luong
I’m planning to have my surgery in late March. How about you—when are you planning yours?
I’ve already gone over the details with Dr. Luong, who will be my surgeon:
External fixator combined with an intramedullary nail
Expected frame time is around 3–4 months (I’m lengthening 8 cm)
I’m currently training and preparing for the surgery based on the doctor’s instructions (about a 2-month prep plan)
Big thanks to NorthBarista for sharing the contact info, and to ilovecat1991 for Dr. Luong’s profile. After doing some research, I feel pretty good about his experience and background.

If anyone here has experience with limb lengthening, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your insights so I can better understand what to expect. Thanks in advance.
I’ve done some research and found that 108 Hospital has a cosmetic surgery department, but the costs are higher than at Bac Ha Hospital. The services are more premium. If anyone has more detailed information, please help.
I heard that Bac Ha Hospital doesn’t accept foreign patients for limb lengthening, so I switched to 108 Military Central Hospital instead. I’m still discussing the costs since it’s a public hospital and the price is higher, but this is the international department so the service should be better. If anyone has more detailed info, please share.
After doing quite a bit of research, I’ve made my decision and wanted to share a brief summary here.
(1) I decided to go with 108 Military Central Hospital in Vietnam for a few reasons. The overall cost is much lower compared to Canada. While it’s more expensive than some other hospitals in Vietnam, the higher cost seems to come with better quality and a higher level of safety. I also spoke with a friend of mine who’s a doctor, which helped reinforce my confidence in this choice.
(2) The surgeon I’ve chosen is Dr. Luong. From what I’ve found, he’s currently one of the most experienced doctors at 108 Hospital when it comes to limb lengthening. To be honest, I was initially quite concerned about the level of medical expertise in Vietnam, so I spent time reviewing his background and publications. Here’s his profile for anyone interested:

and his fb: https://www.facebook.com/keodaichandrluong
Looking through his credentials definitely made me feel more comfortable with my decision.
I’m still a bit concerned about communication throughout the limb lengthening process. I’ll be undergoing limb lengthening using the LON method with an intramedullary nail.If anyone here has gone through a similar procedure, especially in Vietnam, or has any experience or advice to share, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
