are you saying that there is an individual who had 5 cm of lengthening in only 1 month?given it's femur and only 5 cm it should conservatively consolidate in 2 more months, maybe 3...

after your 8 cm, it seems to me that it really took 1 year for you to feel fairly normal and well in your day to day activities.good to know in terms of expectations
