I had surgery to lengthen my Achilles tendon. I'll see in three weeks if I can walk. Keep your fingers crossed.

Your left and right feet are both crooked at different viewing angles. Have you discussed this with your doctor?

Ohh, man, what is this ??
He removed your LON and put plates instead ?
Now you have Valgus and Procurvatum on your right tibia and a huge anterior deformity on your left tibia !
How was happened and what you gonna do to fix all these ?

Who is your doctor actually ?

Almost 9 cm added in tibias and atl? This is really messed up. I hope for the best but I really doubt if you will be really functional after all these. If you are, consider yourself extremely lucky.

Functional?
Look at his left tibia:

 172,5 to 187,5

That guy is proper BOTCHED

His right tibia is also fkked

Also both fibulas look like they will not be connecting. Goodbye ankle stability on both legs

As uncle ted impolitely(in line with his wise old age and slavic temper) but rightfully exclaimed "what the hell is this ?? "

He will hobble like a cripple for at least an year until both legs are consolidated before doctors wpuld go in there to reposition the bones and do fibula grafts. Long revisions ahead, with tsf external fixators most likely. Hope he has cash to get it all fixed(multiple surgeries)

Edit
Forgot to mention the 15 inch long thick scars on both legs from these absurd plates. Bet that would make the ladies all soaked when he wears shorts innit

Fibula non union is of no importance in reality. I have non union in my left fibula and no instability or any oroblem with my ankle and no difference in anything compared to my other foot. And all the doctors I've been reassured me that I will never have any problem due to fibula non alignment.

That said, yes its tibia is terribly malaligned. And the biomechanics almost ruined with 8.5cm added in tibias. and I didn't speak about atl, the most crippling surgery that should have been totally banned. And all these while he already had a very good height after femur LL. A very sad story from someone who got crippled for no reason at all.

Bodybuilder i remember you did 3 inches, is your tibia now longer than the femur?
Im asking from an arthritis standpoint, now that its been like 10 years have you been checking on your ligaments with xrays every once in a while to judge for degenerative changes in the structures ?

Also do you have any pain or clicks on the non union site of your fibula? Why dont you fix it with a quick graft and a plate?
Im not keen on the philosophy that fibula is an unimportant bone, if nature put it there its for a good reason. The most obvious is that it provides structural support for the ankle as two bones attached to the ankle would distribute loads much better

Yes I did 3 inches and there are almost 14 years now after my LL. My tibia is still shorter than my femur but only about 1-2 cm, I don't remember exactly.

About fibula, I ttied to fix it when I fixed my right bow leg but all doctors told.me that it doesn't matter at all, except the bome is broken near the ankle or the knee. I have about 1,5-2cm non union in the middle amd a graft may didn't work but even if it did, no doctor thought it worth it or that it will help me with anything. I feel no difference in ankle stability compared to my right foot which has a completely healed fibula so I trusted the doctors. Also fibula doesn't bear the weight of the foot not even a slight. I also believe that it has a reason that exists but a small non union like mine seem not to play any detrimental role in its function.

Also I have about 5 years to do any x ray in my feet. Then I didn't have any premature arthritis or anything. I don't know now but I don't have any pain on my knees or ankles. I don't believe that my ligaments will be the same at 70 compared to someone who didn't do LL but becoming average height was more important than me and of course I took the risks.
If I was almost 1.80 after my first LL for sure I wouldn't do another LL and lengthen insane amounts like 8.5cm on tibias, like creaton of the thread. But at less than 1.70cm all these didn't matter more than height gain, unforrunately.

excellent good for you bodybuilder

regarding the OP, he said he didnt do femur yet, thats his first surgery and the drama is unfolding since june 2024

going all in on the tibs evidently, i guess he wore those crooked monorails for like an year before his butcher doctor put those ginormous plates on him

callus in bad shape too after 1+ year, wondering whats this boyo gonna do to fix all that botchness

and he said he had achiles release and is hoping he can walk which probably means he has been wheelchairmaxxing for this whole year since the surgery

proper self botch, his mistake going to them donerkebabcels, his doctor is clearly some sort of a madman
