Hey guys, I am a 25y old male Turkish and my current height is 173cm(5'8.11). I am planning to go for LON on femurs first; my target is 8-9cm. I have an appointment with dr—Yunus Oc in a few weeks. I haven't seen any reviews about him. I know Nicholas from "Nicholas' Leg Lengthening Journey" got his surgery done at wanna be taller but I believe his surgeon was different then.

So here are my questions
1- What do you think I should ask him?

2- How can I understand if he is competent or not?

3- After the femur, I want to go for the tibia and add 6cm 1.5-2 years later. After my full recovery, I want to be able to continue doing 80kg (170-180lbs) deadlifts. Is it possible to do deadlifts after a 14-15cm gain or should I go for lower height gains?

4- What supplements should I buy? Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, ZMA, Collagens, etc.

5- Currently I take around 2000 calories a day, I heard here on this forum that I should get 4000 calories more is it correct? Would it be a problem if I drink carb shakes?

6- I plan to do PT on my own so I'll buy a treadmill 46cm wide, and 120cm long also I have been stretching for 3 months now 1h a day. Do you think I need help from professionals?

I will do a diary about my surgery here with lots of pictures and videos, hopefully, everything goes well for all of us.

Thank you for your replies guys, my budget is around $15k so going abroad is out of the question, I want to get this done in Turkey.   I just graduated in electrical and computer engineering and after I recover I will go to the US to do my master's degree. I don't want to postpone the surgery any longer as I will be very busy in the coming years.

dont go there, if you consider Turkey, Yuksel is probably the best option, but still not as safe as Paley, Parihar or Germans..

I asked Yuksel's team about the price and it was twice as expensive. I was planning to have this surgery in the US last year, but I lost a lot of money in the stock market around $140k and decided to have it done in Turkey, so I prefer to save some money for my master's degree and also invest in the market.  If I don't like Dr. Yunus, I might reconsider the surgery altogether. My question is: how do I know if he is competent enough, what should I ask him?
