2 inch femur lengthening

new to the forum! In 4 weeks I'll be having the operation to lengthen my left femur 2 inches. I'll be keeping a diary but would be interested in hearing femur lengthening experiences, recommendations for comfort/pain management, or any tips and tricks to make the lengthening/healing process easier.

Since it's just the left(I'm assuming it's shorter than the right) and only 2 inches, you'll have a very breezy ride. I recommend reading through Patients Experiences, especially Unicorn's since she left some tips on stuff to buy.
