Quote from: giorgi98 on August 17, 2017, 09:15:42 PMMate why dont you just go home yeah?, your 175 so I dont even know what your doing on these forums at all. People here acting as if 7cm gain is not risky and totally fine. Surgery is surgery and if someone is smart enough not to go 20cm then there surely smart enough not to do it at all.

The taller you are the less risk there is as your overall body growth is smaller than a shorter person. So this surgery is actually a bit safer for me to do than yourself. Also many people act as 7 cm is not risky because they want to justify doing that amount. In theory for the femur it is a safe amount still but everything after 5 cm becomes more harder. But yes we all take a risk but the smart ones will take a more calculated one and not just want to justify 20 cm because they will reach 6 feet.

You do realise by calling me dumb if thats what you are implying then your no better since your also doing the exact same surgery. Its funny everyone here is like an expert considering your saying the taller you are the more safe it is and some other guy memtioned that shorter people have more of an advantage. This forum is becoming less and less helpfull. And your a guy who is bashing me for doing the same surgery as you. Thats called a hypocrite 20 cm of lengthening...possible?

You are being dumb.

Quote from: giorgi98 on August 17, 2017, 09:39:05 PMOne can question ypu too, why take the risk at all? Why not just get used to the height you are and accept yourself?, a person not doing LL can tell you the same thing as your telling me.

Because you should take the option that gives you most profits at less risk. In femurs, from 0 - 5/6 cm, most people won't have problems with recovery and consolidation but you are willing to go to 10 cm. For you, it's only 3 cm but the bigger the gap the recovery time increases exponentially. You would be better off doing less lengthening for a good 177 cm; instead of risking all just to get to 183 cm.

I was not calling you dumb I was referencing the smart enough comment you said. When someone says shorter people have a advantage they are referring to having the most to gain socially life changing such as a 5"5 guy going to 5"9 will gain more from the surgery than a 5 10 guy doing 10 cm. But physically speaking the taller the easier it will be because less % of your over all body is growing. If you were 5"1 I would tell you to go for 15 cm at most but thats only because at that it really is hell for a man. But you are 5"6 so if you really want to hit 6 feet you should lengthen 10 cm in two surgerys and wear lifts.

I have taken my head out of my a$$ about the 20 cm thing and thinking about a realistic 12- 15 cm so I can run in the future and not limp like my grandfather. I mean like 180 is tall , and with shoes your a 6footer. So Im obeying the (dont pass the 7.5cm mark)
