Probably just an innocent mistake. Parihar's limit is definitely 6 cm with exfix/LON on tibiae and even less for external femur if you can convince him to do it for you. I think he'll let you go the full 8 cm with Precice nails in the femur.

As for money, he's certainly not making a huge profit from it. Penguinn's surgery was $42,000 USD, of which $34,000 goes to Ellipse for the Precice nails. That's $8,000 left over for Dr Parihar without including his operating expenses for the procedure.

I honestly think that your femur/tibia are very much proportional. If you can, do a mock up.

What tool does one use to do a mockup? Photoshop?  Could someone kindly point me to a right direction so i can do a mock up myself? A step by step instruction will be greatly appreciated.
