I finished lengthening at 7.7cm on my tibia via LON and I am doing the 2nd surgery to take off the external fixator next week on Oct1. The whole process from the surgery itself to the rehab to now has been smooth, I haven't had any sort of complications like infections or anything. The facility for rehab and the ward are both top notch and a comfortable environment. The doctor, nurses and pt's are all kind and helpful with the right intentions of being safe and making sure I'm going to be able to come back in terms of athleticism. For me I was most surprised and happy with the physical therapy experience, as I said all of the therapists were very helpful and careful with my rehab and it's maybe the most important aspect during this journey so I think you should heavily value this when choosing your surgeon. Aswell the international patient support team was very very helpful during this even from before the suregery still until now.
