What do you think will limb lengthening technology be like in the year 2044?
Will there be new lengthening techniques by then and will the surgery be less painful and less cumbersome as it is today?
Do you think by the year 2044 lengthening up to 7 inches is achievable without compromising athleticism?
Why specifically 2044
It was a typing error, he ment 2077.
I just thought a 25-year time frame is a good long-term period for any technology
7 inch's would destroy your proportions and damage your biomechanics. I don't see this changing.5 inch is the max you'll be able to increase your height probably ever unless there's torso lengthening in the future.
I think what we need is better methods of lengthening tibias and ways to dramatically increase bone consolidation.
Stryde is pretty much as good as it gets for internals since it's immediately weight bearing.
Perhaps they'll be able to use stem cells from you're bone marrow in the future to stimulate bone growth.
Stryde is the limit in terms of rods. Maybe in some century's someone find someway to open up the cartilage of the bone to make it grow again, but it can be impossibly maybe , I dont have expertise enough on this subject
