I am wondering why my height has shortened by 3cm compared to last month's measurement. my height before the surgery was about 167,4. my femur was lengthened by 7cm and after the lengthening my height was measured at 173cm but today's measurement is only 170cm.

Measure the x-ray, this is the real measure

Did you measure at same time of day?, some people can shrink by up to 2cm per day due to spinal compression, I don't suffer from this so much as i am a lightweight (65kg), I stay hydrated, and also I have a fused L1/S5 joint (thickest joint in spine. mine was ~ 6mm thick before a 5 mm solid cage was inserted).
I started off at 171 cm (6 years ago), now after 8 cm (LFemur) i consistently measure in 179-180cm range throughout the day, i have narrow hips so only lost 1 or 2 mm due to pelvic Q Angle.

If you are not measuring your heights not at the same time and your ways of measurements are the same, then I guess maybe you were using externals with pins to lengthen your femurs but that won't shrink so much like 3cm. What's more, I saw you mentioned your lengthened height as 173cm not 174cm which you should've got taller up to 174cm cuz you lengthened by 7cm. So I am kinda lost in your explanations.
Mind reelaborating it?

I used the LON method to lengthen the femur. I always measure my height at night, before the surgery my height was constant at around 167.4 cm, so when my femur was lengthened by 7 cm my theoretical height should be 174 cm, but the highest I measured was 173 cm, compared to about 171 cm currently.

I would like to know why using externals with pins to lengthen my femurs causes the height to shrink.

I took x-rays today and came to the conclusion that the livelifetaller did not actually lengthen me by 7 cm, that their procedure does not cut the bone completely vertically, but obliquely, and that when they measure the length of the lengthening, they measure it from the lower part of the bone, which at first I thought that was new bone.

Can you share your xray with us if it's possible? Why would they do that?
