Ok this is actually unbelievable and insane. The story goes like these: he was shot and survived, he then 3 months later woke up but he was 6 INCHES taller, I mean, how? I absolutely do know sleep have a correlation with growing but I definetely didn't know this could be possible.

So why is this isn't explored as alternative to LL? Also if this Is possible how could one induce in something similar without the risks? Could long periods of deep sleep (I don't know 18 hours a day?) have any effect?

I got so many questions and there is literally zero info online.

"Why isnt this explored as an alternative" Who wants to be in a coma for 3 months you do know you can die in a coma. More than likely what happened is that the patient had some kind of deficiency that stopped his body from either releasing HGH/IGF-1 or wasnt absorbed properly by androgen receptors which lead to his growth plates being open all the way to the age of 26 and the coma must've triggered something in his body to fix that deficiency.

This cant be replicated because more than likely your growth plates are closed deep sleeping wont do anything if your growth plates are closed doesnt even seem like you did any research

Kevin Passanise is the name of the person. You can watch him in a recent podcast.

At 26 plates are not open, there is 0 chance. Also the person was an active football player with no health conditions. There are medical ways to induce patients to coma safely so wtf do you mean. I'm not saying it should be an alternative but my question is why Isn't this known? Or explored in the medical field? There isn't even papera about it. The question remains. How Is it possible for the body to grow in that state?

Do you actually took a look on the name I gave or are you here trying yo lecture us? I'm not talking about academic sources here. I'm giving anecdotical empirical evidence and there are actual media reports on the Afore mentioned  incident. There is no reason to judge as false the anecdotical More so if you have quite literal evidence of the person teling you.

Lol pajeet you should really take a look on this forum to actually learn something instead of scamming people on the internet. Height vary during the day due spinal compression. see? Stop making a clown of yourself.

Quote from: GrowGrow123 on March 06, 2025, 03:25:31 AMI don't believe this story. But, even if it were true, your growth plates are almost certainly closed at age 26. So inducing a coma wouldn't help.
The story is real, there is no reason to think is not, also there is actual evidence of him that he was shot and in coma, him growing is true tho. I would assume due the lack of medical info on this is probably the shot altered the brain-hormones glands, system which activated growth, like people with giantism. It's the only explanation I can came up with.

Quote from: kja on March 08, 2025, 03:59:36 PMwhat a load of crap - please stop stating a podcast claim is medical research - how can you be shot and grow 6 inches - why don't you take a bullet and see!!??  An australian guy grew 6 inches at 26 years old while in a 3 months coma
You can't read can you pajeet? Show me where did I claim this was 'medical research' you retarded indian. It's anecdotical evidence, what reason would this guy have to lie after such an incident? Oh right, you are indian, obviously your customs are lying, deceiving AND scamming, Well not everyone Is like that you know?

Quote from: Ktenom on March 29, 2025, 02:39:01 PMI also think this story is fishy. Unless this guy had something seriously wrong with him (which then it wouldn't apply to us anyway), his plates definitely would've fused. Additionally I wasn't able to find any information other than that minute or so in the podcast
For what reason a guy in his condition and with 0 to do with the LL comunnity would say on a podcast something like that? I mean for what reason? that does not make any sense. He was 26 years old when he got shot, so his plates were closed. In fact the podcast moderator confirmed "he was huge" on a reply in the same video. Why would two people lie for something like that?

Quote from: Ktenom on March 30, 2025, 12:30:49 PMThe story very well COULD be true, but he has provided no actual evidence. If he showed a before and after, or anything for that matter rather than effectively saying "trust me bro", then maybe I could be convinced. People lie about the most absurd stuff for no reason, and for this guy he could have simply wanted to make his story more interesting. Also him saying he was huge doesn't really mean anything, as that also has no evidence, and is not measurable.
Why would he provide evidence on a casual conversation? That was not even the podcast topic at all. I get it, people on the internet lie and a general rule Is not to take as real everything on the internet but I don't see how or why someone would casually lie about something like that for no reason at all.

Quote from: Ktenom on March 30, 2025, 10:17:45 PMI mean I don't really want to get into the specifics of why or how he would lie about stuff like that, as I don't think this is the forum for that. The fact of the matter is I don't know anything about this guy, and so I can't 100% say for sure if the story is true or not, so I'd rather not get my hopes up for something that seems to have only happened to him. Anyway back to the main topic, the actual story itself. It's interesting, imagine going from being short to average, average to tall, etc. Would be a world of difference, and save so much money from not needing LL anymore
You know what would be awesome if Victor (cyborg4life) could get him for an interview. I would prbably try to contact him to see if that could be possible
