Hey guys I'm planning on doing LL with DARLI in South Korea. Things seem to have changed from the last time I contacted them about 5 years ago. They were offering 70 free PT sessions and giving me estimates on renting apartments nearby. Now there is no free PT sessions and they advertise staying in the hospital or hotels the cheapest being around $50 per day which would still be in the thousands for 3 months. I've barely scrapped enough funds to cover the surgery + flights and accommodation so that won't be a viable option for me.
It seems like they will cover the basics but you'll be pretty much on your own to find your own accommodation and do PT on your own. Not only will I be doing one of the most traumatic surgeries in the world but I will have to learn to fend for myself in a foreign country while practically being a cripple. I'm sure you guys can understand how daunting that is. I was hoping I could speak to any international patients of Donghoon or a South Korean for some advice to get a lay of the land. Please reply to this post or DM me. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.
